RESTAURANT “MEANDAR” by A4 STUDIO

Menadar Restaurant is located within Hotel Osijek, offering uninterrupted views of the Drava River. The interior design is conceived as an homage to the aesthetics of the 1970s, the decade in which the hotel was originally built. The spatial concept draws inspiration from the river’s meandering course, which subtly informs the flow and geometry of the interior.

Natural materials play a central role in the design, with wood predominantly used across all tactile surfaces and major vertical elements, reinforcing both warmth and material continuity. Acoustic performance was a key design consideration, given that the restaurant is enclosed by extensive glass surfaces on three sides.
