Brendeland & Kristoffersen Arkitekter, Norway
The architectural firm Brendeland & Kristoffersen Arkitekter was founded in 2002 by Olav Kristoffersen and Geir Brendeland. Their practice is based on exploring typologies and traditions in architecture, restrained complexity, and low-tech solutions. They have received several prestigious international awards (Mies van der Rohe Award, 2007; Architectural Review Award, 2008, 2005). Their work has been featured in international architectural publications and exhibitions, including the Venice Architecture Biennale (2012).
