Žan Kavčič is an architect and co-founder of Kavčič d.o.o., which he has been leading together with his cousin Valentin since 2024. Their story combines architectural thinking with more than fifty years of family woodworking tradition, building a bridge between design, innovation, and craftsmanship.

The company focuses on developing and producing sustainable, multifunctional furniture made from solid Slovenian wood, uniting aesthetics, functionality, and durability. Its flagship product, Hangy – a multifunctional modular system – has been recognised in numerous international competitions (WIPO Global Awards, DesignEuropa, German Design Award) and presented at SaloneSatellite in Milan.

The company’s vision is to create products that go beyond trends, remain environmentally friendly, and are built to last for generations.
