Avant Mar Hotel in Paros fuses local Parian heritage with modern naval elegance. Interior design elements such as arches, curves, and geometric forms reflect traditional Cycladic architecture, while natural materials like white marble, solid oak, and organic fabrics create a refined, earthy feel. The color palette draws from the island’s landscape – sea blue, Cycladic white, and sandy beige – reflected in custom fabrics and sea-inspired curtains. Curvilinear furniture and handcrafted ceramics further enhance the cohesive aesthetic.
In the reception area, natural elements and white marble dominate, with the hotel’s logo, “the almyriki,” carved into a large arch. Bedrooms feature custom marble flooring, offering a refined interpretation of the traditional stone streets of the island.
Avant Mar also hosts the world-renowned Matsuhisa restaurant, set in a lush beachfront garden, where minimalist Japanese design meets local character, centered around a striking circular bar.
