She was born in 1967 with the Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Virgo which endowed her with a spirit of inquiry, an infinite quest for diversity and a refined sense for aesthetics. As her dream was to become a theatre set designer, she studied architecture and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ljubljana in1993. At the beginning of her career she participated in several competitions in the field of landscape design and public space. She furthered her education in graphic design and worked in the area of visual communications, brand design and corporate identity systems for several years.
In 2014, she co-founded the Art of Imagination Foundation – which reconnects, reframes and represents contemporary architecture and the language of the visual arts through designing and curating exhibitions, workshops and conversations. From 2019 to 2022 she worked as the Manager of Curatorial Programme Management in the oldest gallery in Slovenia – The Window Gallery Kos, where the artworks of renowned local and international artists were on display 24/7 even during the coronavirus lockdown.
She also devoted her part time to researching the (collective) unconscious, which communicates to us through art, and completed the specialist studies of The Secrets of Expressive Arts Therapy in 2020.
She is lately involved across different visual arts and crafts design projects using sensible communications and innovative approaches to enhance the importance of the traditional and cultural knowledge for sustainable design and architecture. She works and lives in Ljubljana.
