Boutique Hotel Centrale, located on Centrale Piazza in Luštica Bay, is a five-star, urban boutique hotel that blends heritage with modern design. Built on the site of a former military workshop, the project preserves and adapts the original reinforced concrete structure, integrating columns, slabs, and foundations into a new, contemporary form.
A carefully added floor expands capacity without disrupting the building’s compact volume. The design merges tradition and innovation: gabled roofs, exposed concrete frames, and glass surfaces evoke an industrial spirit, while a new vertical circulation tower defines the composition. The annex, with its green roof and stone façade, is subtly embedded in the terrain, creating a quiet retreat facing the pine forest. Inside, the ground floor hosts reception, restaurant, bar, and spa, while upper levels feature 24 elegant rooms and suites. Sustainability guided every decision – from material choices to energy concept – prioritizing reconstruction over new construction to reduce emissions and preserve resources
Boutique Hotel Centrale is more than accommodation; it’s an architectural dialogue between past and present, designed to create lasting impressions.
