
Penzel Valier
Penzel Valier is an architecture and engineering firm based in Zurich. The interdisciplinary office was founded in 2008 by Christian Penzel and Martin Valier, and focuses on sophisticated architectural designs and structures that result in innovative, iconic buildings and urban environments. Today, the office comprises more than 100 professionals and is led by Leonore Daum, Christian Penzel, Friedrich Tellbüscher, and Martin Valier. Intensive, team-based collaboration across all disciplines enables the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
Penzel Valier works in a network of partners and planners, using state-of-the-art digital technologies and tools. Architectural concepts are developed as unique responses to the brief and the local context, in close dialogue with the client, always striving for distinctive solutions to specific challenges. Firmly embedded in Swiss building culture and focused on the quality of construction, the spectrum of work ranges from large infrastructure projects to institutional and public buildings, to residential buildings, hospitality, and interior design, for clients such as SRF, ETH, BKW, Kenova, Bernmobil, RHB, SNF, and others.
