Falstaff Office by BEHF Architects

Falstaff Verlag GmbH – Publisher House Vienna: The new headquarters of Falstaff Verlag occupies the second floor of the historic “Haus am Schottentor”, a former bank building in Vienna. BEHF Architects transformed the vacant premises into a contemporary publisher’s office that reflects Falstaff’s identity at the intersection of gourmet culture, media, and digital transformation.

The design is based on a clear, linear layout that organizes the office into distinct functional zones. While the workspaces are deliberately calm and restrained, key areas such as reception, tasting area, meeting room, library, and restrooms are designed as spatial highlights with a softer, more rounded language. White custom-made furniture, rose-tinted mirrors, glass partitions with bordeaux-red frames, and a specially designed carpet create a bright and warm atmosphere. An 8.5-meter video wall connects the two wings and symbolizes the publisher’s transition into the digital age.
