The interior design of this luxury duplex apartment for a young family in Zadar was developed in parallel with the architecture of the residential building, also designed by ARHITEKTURA PLUS. Inspired by the Mediterranean context and its urban interpretation, the space balances light, air, and material honesty.
Long-lasting, natural, and low-impact materials, custom-made joinery, and energy-efficient lighting support a modern yet grounded way of living. Solid wood surfaces, breathable textiles, and neutral tones shape a calm, sunlit atmosphere. The bespoke, sculptural, spiral staircase, crafted in collaboration with local artisans and featuring floating wooden treads and a glass balustrade, forms the central element, connecting both levels into a fluid, light-filled and coherent home.
