The Planica Pavilion combined expressive design with structural efficiency. Its folded roof, inspired by mountain peaks, enabled large spans and resisted wind and horizontal forces. The Planica Pavilion showcased advanced, low-carbon timber construction and circular design: elements were made for disassembly, reuse, and long life. Most components were reused after the event, reducing waste, resource use, and carbon footprint.
