The former heating plant in Munich Aubing, a listed Nagelfluh and exposed brick structure, has been transformed into the BERGSON Kunstkraftwerk – an ambitious new cultural landmark for the metropolitan region of Munich. Its monumental spatial framework, ranging from intimate zones to cathedral like volumes, enables immersive environments for performing and visual arts, gastronomy, and events.

The architectural strategy embraces the complexity of the existing fabric with a flexible, open ended approach that adapts to evolving curatorial and spatial needs. In a rapidly growing district, BERGSON acts as a cultural catalyst, turning a long neglected industrial relic into a vibrant, multisensory venue that reconnects community, creativity, and place.
