House Carezza

Near Lake Carezza, nestled in the Eggental valley amidst lush larch forests and jagged peaks, lies House Carezza. This landscape is a true paradise, where the colors of the lake and the evening light reflect off the surrounding mountains, creating breathtaking sunsets. The two new wooden houses reinterpret the alpine architectural tradition, blending wood and stone with modern technologies. The asymmetrical roof echoes the rugged, fractured nature of the rocks.

To preserve the residents’ privacy in this densely built area, the north side is enclosed by terraces and wooden slats, while the south side opens up to panoramic views of the Latemar through a glass façade. A distinct dividing line separates the fir wood upper section from the dolomite stone base.

Inside, the staggered three floors ensure uninterrupted views. The rooms, filled with natural light and wooden finishes, exude timeless alpine charm, balancing intimacy and warmth, allowing guests to experience tradition within a vast landscape.
