Marco Poletti, Italy

My job… A travel constantly evolving between Design and Architecture My DNA… A dynamic balance between being a designer and an architect that has the only point of reference in “giving life” to a creative idea through interpretations that have a strong emotional impact as spaces, surfaces or volumes.
I have the good fortune to have been born and work in a country like Italy where creative and artistic forms have always created the “Made in Italy” modifying it genetically in its DNA, making it unique and exclusive all over the world.
I graduated in Architecture from Politecnico of Milan, in 1995 I have started my enterprise and in 1997 I have set up “Marco Poletti Studio”. “I had the opportunity to collaborate with important brands of the fashion industry (Cerruti, Christian Dior, Ermenegildo Zegna, Ferrè, MandarinaDuck, Missoni, Valentino e Zara), consumer goods (Barilla, Bialetti, Olivetti, Sony e Wind) and home furnishings (Albatros, Besana, Bongio, Catalano, Cerasa, Cisal, De Vecchi, Faraone, GiustiPortos, Gruppo Geromin, Huber, MD Studio, Momenti, SevesGlasblock, Tre-P&Tre-Più e Jacuzzi). Among the results there are more than 700 products, 50 interior projects and abroad contract (especially in Russia, Ukraine and Emirates), more than 150 scenography/ exhibitions and more than 2500 publications. ” In 2020, the year of the 25th anniversary of my work, I received the position of Ambassador of Italian Design in Kazakhstan by the Italian Embassy Nur Sultan and by ADI for the Italian Design Days. In the same year I won the ICONIC Design Awards 2020: Innovative Architecture, the SBID Awards 2020 – Society of British & International Product Design: Brassware category and the European Product Design Awards – Honorable Mention with the EGO collection by Giulini G. Rubinetteria. The Belarus Award contest in Belarus in 2014 and IIDEX Canada in 2015 with the LAGHI collection of La Torre. I received the prestigious award of the ADI INDEX DESIGN Compasso d’Oro in 2002 with MOON di Bongio. From 2010 to today I have been a member of the National Thematic Commission within the ADI itself.
