A family house on a small plot of land is an ideal example of compact and practical housing that emphasizes simplicity and timelessness. Available land is constantly shrinking, and the requirements for residential housing remain. There is an overall requirement to maximize the use of the building at the expense of corridors and garages. Therefore, instead of a traditional garage, only a parking space is designed here, which contributes to the feeling of openness and integrity of the building and garden.
The living room is designed to provide a view of two sides of the plot, which ensures natural light and connects the interior with the surrounding landscape. The interior is dominated by a minimalist white design, complemented by wood accents that bring color and liveliness to the otherwise very anonymous interior of the lower floor. The combination of black and white in the exterior and interior creates a harmonious balance that is elegant and modern at the same time. Large windows connect the living space with the garden, ensuring constant contact with the garden and making the garden an integral part of the interior. Curtains in the interior add softness and intimacy to the space. The white cast floor is not only practical, but also visually enlarges the space and supports the minimalist look. Solitary furniture elements are chosen so as not to disrupt the overall impression, but at the same time, add functionality and style to the space.
