A bachelor pad for a curious, confident and cultured man. Taking inspiration from the classic 18th century building and adapting it to the modern life of a jetsetter. Designed to maximize sophistication and comfort Uzca and Sanchez+Coleman studio played with both architecture, form and shape with luxe materials to create contemporary furniture compositions with bold profiles throughout the home. The long living/dining room is anchored by a massimo listri photo above a black marble kitchen island. the striking taupe- earthy palette contrast the venetian plaster walls and rich ebonyexpresso wenge wood cabinetry. The lounge feature wall of cabinetry is highlighted by a linear fireplace and game table. the master bedroom is a nocturnal shade of greige stucco that creates a moody seductive space with a luxurious silk rug over the custom sand blasted wide oak floors. The sumptuous marble slabs of carrera were selected for the venning and details from forte de marami. The strong architectural lines of the master beathroom feature black metal frames and fixtures. The shower and tub sit on a teak platform. In the end, the home is defined by a beautiful attention to detail, sophisticated neutral palette, european furniture that hightlights a cultivated sense of livable luxury and comfort. An Artfull life In the social area is an open plan living space where living dinning and kitchen share a serene pallete of gray, nude , and touch of black. Collide beautifully from the sandblasted wide plank floor to focal point. Sanchez+Coleman worked in tandom with maria elena Uzcategui of Uzca design to bring a 18th century apt up to date for a bachelor. We believe design is about a conversation between styles, cultures, objets, art and the people that create them. Off to the side a serenely masculine master bedroom and luxurious light filled in suite bathroom allow for privacy.
