Nesting Room by Moooi Ceramic Surfaces

Nesting Room is the first collection born from the collaboration between ABK and Moooi. The project is an invitation to slow down and rediscover stillness, transforming space into a regenerating refuge. Inspired by three symbolic presences of nature—Hypnotic Owl, Reiki Rhea, and Cloistered Dove—it builds an imaginary world of balance, silence, and harmony, where each pattern reflects natural, repeated, and reassuring gestures. The surfaces give shape to this universe through rhythmic, tactile patterns that evoke the cycles of nature, creating immersive and contemplative environments. Not simple decoration, but visual narratives that foster a sense of wellbeing and introspection, turning walls and floors into expressive elements of space. The depth of the textures and the dialogue between light and shadow are made possible by innovative 3D technology, which gives ceramic a tactile and three-dimensional quality. The result is a versatile and sensory collection, capable of adapting to different spaces and creating atmospheres where one can pause, reconnect, and regenerate.
