The house was designed on a steep slope of the Gliczarów meadows – a serene spot offering a breathtaking panorama of the Tatra Mountains. Created for a family of mountain sports enthusiasts, primarily climbers and ski tourers, the project features a dynamic and modern form.
The challenging terrain demanded unconventional solutions: Due to the significant incline, the main entrance is located on the attic level and is accessed via a striking, suspended footbridge. The valley view, unfolding through the expansive glazing, transforms nature into a soothing landscape that engages all the senses. In designing this dynamic form, we wanted the architecture to become a frame for what matters most – an authentic awe of the Tatra landscape.
