Iasmina Onescu is an architect, lecturer, and researcher in the field of vulnerability assessment of historical buildings. Her passion for heritage took shape during her university studies, being consolidated by her doctoral thesis “Vulnerability assessment of historical urban centers”. She is a tutor in the Architectural Design Studio 3 and 4 of the 2nd year and is responsible for the “Basics of Construction 1″ and „Seismic
Architecture” courses. She is also a PhD supervisor in the field of Architecture and a CNATDCU member for the term 2024-2028. She works as an architect with 3DSN Design Studio, for residential architecture projects, and interventions on existing buildings. She believes that the creative process is as important as the final product in architecture.
