BIG SEE Awards
Launched in 2018 as a regional initiative to explore the creative potential of Southeast Europe, the BIG SEE Awards have since grown into a globally recognised award. Today, they honour outstanding achievements in architecture and product design from around the world.
BIG SEE is more than just an award. It is a cultural and business platform that connects original creative achievements in architecture and interior design globally. Shouting originality, bold ideas, and context-sensitive design fosters meaningful exchange and lasting visibility on the international stage.

Registration
- Early Bird: October 20 – November 30 (150 EUR)
Jury Process
- Evaluation Period: December 2025 – April 2026
The evaluation of submitted projects is ongoing and begins shortly after the complete application (fee + materials) is received. Rather than a fixed judging date, judgments are conducted in several cycles, depending on submission volume.
Award Confirmation
- Winner Notification: Sent individually, on a rolling basis after evaluation.
- Award Logo and Certificate: Issued after payment is received.
BIG Architecture 2026 event
May 21-22, 2026 – Grando, Portorož, Slovenia
- Stage presentation of the winning project with a trophy awarding,
- Grand Prix award ceremony and dinner party,
- Trade Show of innovations,
- Conference and debates.

Judging Criteria
The international jury of industry experts reviews the received applications based on the following qualities:
- innovation, intelligent design, and originality
- environmental sensitivity and sustainability
- cultural and social awareness
- functionality: how the project achieves its stated goals
Among the awarded entries, the jury will also select one Grand Prix winner per category. All jury decisions are final and not subject to appeal.

Process
FEES AND PACKAGES
Mandatory payments
The entrants must cover both the registration fee and payment for the Winner’s Package to participate in the awards process.
The registration fee covers the cost of the judging process and is dependent on the submission period.
Early Bird: October 20 – November 30 (150 EUR)
If a project is selected as a winner, payment for the Winner’s Package is required to receive the award and participate in all promotional activities after the results are known. The Winner’s Package must be paid after the results of the first jurying circle. Failure to complete the payment will result in disqualification from receiving the award and participating in the event.
Payment options
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal through our official payment methods. Please ensure that payment is completed within the specified time frame to confirm participation and maintain eligibility for the award. Only payments made through the official accounts listed on our website will be recognized. Payments made through any other means will not be considered valid. Late or incomplete payments may result in disqualification from the awards process.
