GBC 5

Galvaniho Business Center 5 is the last completed block of the Bratislava commercial and administrative complex between Galvaniho Street and the D1 motorway, which consists of shopping parks and centers, arcades, showrooms, hotels, and rentable administrative complexes. GBC 5 is an office building which, with its dynamic façade and changing window tectonics, responds parametrically to lighting conditions and orientation towards the world. Wide panoramic views of the slopes of the Carpathians and the north of Bratislava, dense vertical sunshades on the south side, and longitudinal eastern and western facades of changing the geometry of perforations with irregular facade atriums with greenery bring refreshing change and authentic design to suburban generic urbanism. GBC 5 strives to respond to all critical issues and new challenges of current design with its architectural and construction solutions.

The block form of the C-shaped administrative complex respects the construction layout of the land, the light-technical conditions, the economics of the construction, and today’s technological trends in the solution of office buildings. The operational dispositions of the variable leasable premises enable the application of individualized solutions for the operation, circulation, and design of the office landscape. The GBC 5 architecture provides all its clients with the benefits of “green architecture” design with the concept of green terraces, loggias, and open spaces for an improved working environment. The landscape of the trees in front of the main entrance creates the bio-aesthetics of the entrance portal, vestibule and atrium of the complex, where the ecology of the tree structure naturally shades the glass facade of the landscape and creates an organic shadow of living nature in the technological world.
