Traditional Finnish saunas from What a Hut seamlessly blend the intimate atmosphere of the sauna with the surrounding environment. Crafted from solid spruce wood, these standardized structures feature clean lines and refined detailing.
The modular collection offers flexibility to suit different needs: a compact 2 × 2 m sauna for up to five people, a spacious 4 × 2 m version for ten, or a unique configuration that combines the sauna with a dedicated relaxation area – creating a holistic space for serene rituals. A perforated wall adorned with small windows brings soft, filtered light into the sauna, while large expanses of glazing connect the interior with the outdoors. Whether overlooking a natural pond, rolling hills, or a forest, the sauna becomes one with its environment.
The saunas are available in four earthy tones – natural, black, green, and red – but the exterior can also be customized to suit the client’s personal preferences. Benches are crafted from spruce wood offcuts to minimize waste, and can also be made from aspen, alder, or cedar.
What a Hut offers a selection of heaters from various brands and configurations tailored to individual needs. Guests can enjoy the traditional warmth of a wood-burning stove for an authentic sauna experience, or opt for the convenience of an electric stove with a control unit – enabling effortless operation via mobile app.
