We were invited to design the interior of the Jesuit College in Ljubljana. The project focused on the following spaces: the café, classrooms, an office, and a connecting hallway. The college café is its heart, as it facilitates socializing, artistic expression, literary evenings, and other activities. Since different generations and cultures come together here, we wanted to create a relaxed and modern atmosphere that appeals to both younger generations (students) and adults, academics, and visitors.

The lightness and softness of the space are achieved through the use of beige and sandy tones and textures. Light, stone-look floors, slightly textured, light walls, curtains, and upholstery on the chairs create a sense of warmth and tenderness. A special highlight is the terracotta-colored walls, which add energy and a pleasant warmth to the space. As a contrast, we used blue on the central arches, the ceiling, and selected furniture, such as tables and the rug. Blue conveys tranquility and wisdom, which balances the space.
