Nordic lights

The collection of translucent porcelain lamps is inspired by the northern lights, the aurora borealis colors spectrum. Fine layers of porcelain are disposed successively on the rounded shape, surprising the sight when lit. The simple shape is the basis for playing with ceramic material, the successive layers of porcelain allow to reveal the overlaps when it lights up. The translucent lamp is created for minimalist contemporary interiors. When unlit the surface of the lamp has a matte, satin look and feel, while lit, the lamp emanates the warmth of the material, the colors intensify, and the game of the porcelain layers becomes visible. Nordic lights lamp will transform a room into a cozy space.
