Ivan Rašković
President of the Union of Architects of Serbia
As a full professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, Rasković leads a Design Master Studio and graduate courses. He views architecture as a reflection of social dynamics and values. Co-author of ‘Tradition – Transition’ (2011) and ‘Future of Housing’ (2017), he explores architectural communicology and urban housing sustainability. Rasković’s portfolio comprises 20+ diverse buildings and his team has secured over 30 competition wins, including 15 first prizes. Notable projects include family homes, Divčibare Nature Park spatial scheme, Palić hotel complex, and Ljubljana athletic complex. He holds nine professional accolades, served as Serbian National Commissioner at the Venice Biennials, and was Banja Luka’s city architect (2017-2020). Since March 2024, he serves as president of the Union of Architects of Serbia.
