.HENN is a multi-purpose facility built in the state of Salzburg, Austria in response to a Europe-wide competition announced by the municipality of Henndorf am Wallersee. The concept is based on an architectural combination of different building tasks, including a senior citizen home with four residential care units, childcare facility, and nursery, designed to create a cross-generational village community. The result is a village-like structure with a central communication zone, where people of all ages can meet and interact, fostering a sense of community and connection.
