EXHIBITION DESIGN „THINK MONUMENTS“
Developed together with Out of Habit Design, the exhibition design for Think monuments. An interactive exhibition (TIROL PANORAMA, Innsbruck, 2022) is based on a modular furniture system derived from the basic geometry of a hexagon. The adaptable elements form interactive stations that invite visitors to engage, reflect and contribute, while also functioning as displays and a flexible guidance system. Designed for long-term and repeated use beyond the exhibition itself, the furniture prioritizes durability, clarity and versatility. It is constructed from robust birch multiplex and linoleum, ensuring resilience and a
tactile material presence. Complementary sheet steel displays, equipped with a precise 5 mm pitch hole pattern, allow for a wide range of configurations and applications, supporting changing content and spatial needs.

INTERIOR DESIGN „APARTMENT SCHWAZ"

A spacious, open-plan living area forms the centerpiece of the renovation of an apartment in Schwaz, Austria. A consistent material palette of maple, black steel and Beton Ciré runs through the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, creating a calm and cohesive interior. The central kitchen unit divides the dining and living areas, while the kitchen counter and dining tabletop, made of durable solid maple, contrast with black steel and stained maple elements. A hand-applied Beton Ciré floor extends throughout the apartment, continuing into the bathroom and flowing seamlessly into the shower. The material and design concept is
completed by custom-made furniture, including a matching double bed as well as a coffee and dining table. This project also marks the first realized in close collaboration with befriended local craftsmen in 2019.

HEINRICH PAN

Studio Pan operates at the intersection of architecture and design, working at scales that allow direct material engagement and prototype development.

My approach stems from an architectural education centered on practical implementation and material processes, insights into various crafts and the establishment of a Fablab focused on open source digital fabrication.

Working primarily with natural materials, I investigate the productive tension between traditional craft and CNC production, developing designs that respond to their inherent qualities and processing methods.

My projects span interior, exhibition, and furniture design, realized through collaboration with a network of like-minded practitioners.
