The comprehensive renovation and restoration of the Austro-Hungarian military building located within Šijana Park Forest in Pula has been successfully completed. Originally a K.u.K. military powder magazine, this historic structure and its surrounding area have undergone meticulous reconstruction and repurposing to optimize spatial conditions for educational activities, field trips, and a diverse range of events, including children’s performances, cultural exhibitions, and intimate concerts. As part of this project, the space has been meticulously renovated and equipped to facilitate educational activities.
The installation of new amphitheater-style seating stairs on the slope in front of the bunker further enhances the functionality and accessibility of the space, transforming it into a vibrant center for culture and art. Additionally, a newly implemented lighting system effectively illuminates both the interior and the surrounding area of the building, including the approach and the amphitheater-style seating stairs, all powered by a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system.
