In 2024, an area of approximately 540 m² at the AMS location in Klagenfurt was comprehensively renovated and reorganized to create a modern, service-oriented environment with clear visitor guidance, high spatial quality, and efficient workflows. A key focus was the integration of the Career Information Center (BIZ) as a clearly identifiable, low-threshold area within the regional office.

The project intentionally moves away from the former corporate identity concept used at earlier BIZ locations and instead introduces a contemporary, architecturally independent design approach. A curved circulation zone forms the central spatial element, connecting reception, waiting areas, consultation rooms, internal workspaces, and the BIZ, enabling intuitive orientation. A clear differentiation between public, semi-public, and internal zones creates transparent processes and an accessible service environment. Flexible furniture, open information areas, and diverse consultation settings support multiple forms of use. The project serves as a pilot concept for future renovations of AMS Career Information Centers.
