We are in the historic heart of the town of Civitanova Marche, precisely in the ancient Borgo Marinaro a few steps from the sea. The challenge was immediately difficult: to adapt a classic house that developed on three levels to a new and different function – a place intended for luxury hospitality. It did not fail to add to the challenge the objective of making the building partially autonomous from an energy point of view and therefore this choice involved the installation of a small photovoltaic system on the roof, installed on both slopes. The studio started with the renovation of a disused building that was emptied, consolidated, and redeveloped with a new laminated wood roof. The facade restored in contemporary lineage dialogues respectfully with its surroundings. Inside, the rooms, two on each of the three floors, are comfortable and sophisticated with the furnishings reduced to a single continuous line running along the wall.
