STEM

Stem is a centralized system for multiple delivery boxes, designed for a competition organized by Alfa 3. In it's design I aimed to address the currently trending adoption of delivery boxes and explored how to integrate them effectively and attractively into urban environments. Stem consists of a single column to which a box can be attached on two of the four sides; the rear side features charging stations for electric cars, while the front side offers charging stations for electric bikes and a service cabinet. There is also a version with shelves. The column is topped with solar panels and is equipped with downward shining lights, so as not to disturb the surroundings or nature too much.

LINEA

Linea is a set of three kitchen appliances created as part of a competition orgainized by Sencor. It consists of a toaster, a hand blender, and a multipurpose food processor, all designed in a unified visual style. I focused primarily on a clean yet distinctive appearance and intuitive operation of the appliances. This also led to the color scheme of the set—one bold color for the controls and the rest in white and gray.

LOOPE

Loope is a design for a cabinet handle. I focused on making the handle applicable to a variety of cabinets common in most homes, which is why I picked a quarter-circle shape. I chose this shape because it allows for modularity; for multiple pieces to fit different cabinets precisely, while also presenting an adjustable look, that adds a unique touch to the furniture.

MARIE KONRÁDOVÁ
I am a student at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, where I study product design at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art. In my design work, I focus primarily on solving everyday problems, but I am always open to exploring a variety of topics. I enjoy working and experimenting with different materials, such as wood, thermoplastics, metal, and textiles. I enjoy learning new things even in fields that may not be directly related to my major, such as photography, graphic design and illustration. Recently, in connection with my upcoming bachelor’s thesis, I have become more interested in the role of plants in design and in addressing environmental issues. Outside of art, I enjoy playing tennis, running, and playing the guitar.
