Lancic sport and recreation center, completed in 2025 and designed by architectural studio Nexar, is a public recreational complex covering approximately 17.000 m². The project comprises multiple outdoor sports fields, pedestrian pathways, and landscaped recreational zones, organized across a gently contoured terrain, with a small lake positioned as the central spatial element.

Programmatic distribution ensures clear accessibility and functional zoning between active and passive uses. A key architectural feature is the central canopy structure, conceived as an irregularly shaped wooden roof plane supported by V-shaped steel columns. The canopy hovers above a compact concrete volume containing utility and service rooms, establishing a clear tectonic contrast between heavy base and lightweight superstructure. Extending outward, it forms a shaded gathering area oriented toward the lake, framing views and acting as the primary social and visual focal point of the complex.
