The house was carefully positioned to preserve the surrounding nature and comply with a strict construction footprint. Set on steep slopes within a tropical forest, the site demanded a precise balance between access, views, and feasibility. The white prism is suspended on stilts, lightly touching the ground.
Accessed by a spiral staircase, the entrance connects the terrace to the bedrooms, offering a radical experience of climate, light, and the sensory presence of the jungle. Above, an elevated platform overlooks the canopy. A lightweight structure shelters the living area, enclosed by sliding glass panels, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior and intensifying immersion in the Atlantic Forest.
The interior celebrates Brazilian culture through contemporary design, traditional craftsmanship, and original pieces. Custom cobogós cast changing shadows, while straw, wood, textiles, and concrete create a rich material composition that unifies nature and culture.
