Numen / For use, Croatia
Nikola Radeljković, an industrial designer, co-founded the design collective For Use in 1998 together with Sven Jonke and Christoph Katzler, focusing on industrial design. In 1999, they also founded Numen, under which they work on conceptual art, scenography, and related fields.
Numen/For Use also designs for Prostoria, and Nikola Radeljković will present the development of the Prostoria brand from a designer’s perspective, including marketing activities and their experiences entering international markets.
Prostoria was founded in 2010, when they began designing upholstered furniture. According to them, inspiration for product development and design comes from everyday life and user experiences, which they aim to reflect in their designs. They are driven by a passion for creating high-quality furniture that enriches users’ daily lives. Therefore, form follows function, and aesthetics are regarded as a basic human need. Their products are affordably priced, as they want them to be accessible to the widest possible range of customers.
