Markus Lager is the co-founder of the architectural firm Kaden + Lager. He studied architecture but is also a trained carpenter, which, as he says, allows him to “think like a true builder.” The firm focuses on innovative residential solutions, with a particular interest in housing and timber construction. In Berlin, they have designed numerous multi-story wooden residential buildings, as well as many hotels and office spaces.
