The owner and manager of Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter ApS is Dorte Mandrup-Poulsen, who holds a master’s degree in architecture and is a member of the Danish Architects’ Association. The studio was founded in June 1999 and is located in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark.

The studio’s work to date demonstrates its mastery of a wide range of projects, covering the fields of landscape architecture and urban planning as well as the construction of cultural institutions, kindergartens, residential and commercial buildings, and the conversion and renovation of protected historical buildings of national importance. For each project, they follow these guidelines: innovation, constant exploration of new programs, spatial relationships, and building materials, and a commitment to originality and personal style. The firm has received numerous national and international awards, and their work is regularly featured in various publications around the world.
