I am a graduate product designer, PhD, and an associate professor at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, University of Zagreb (2004–). I conduct scientific research and teach in areas such as furniture and interior design, design methodology, drawing, healthy furniture, ergonomics, contemporary (artistic) design values, cultural heritage, and tradition in the design of wooden products and buildings.

After eight years of experience working in the R&D department of Tvin Ltd (1996-2004), I continued to serve as an educator, mentor, researcher, and practicing designer, pursuing interdisciplinary integration of art, design, and wood technology with a focus on users’ well-being, health, and sustainable ecological design.

I am an active member of the Croatian Design Society, the Croatian Ergonomic Society, and the American Forest Products Society.
