SHAPE & SHADE™is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio based between Prishtina and Istanbul. Founded by Ibrahim Beqiri, the studio works at the intersection of heritage, craft, and contemporary design, transforming local memory and cultural narratives into innovative spatial and product solutions.

Its portfolio includes large-scale urban and architectural projects as well as internationally recognized product design. The studio was a WAF 2025 Finalist with the Kamenica Transit Oases project and a Finalist at the SHARE Architecture Awards 2025 in both the Urban Design and Residential categories. In product design, the BOLD Shkam Chair has gained worldwide recognition, winning the German Design Award and Iconic Award, and being a Finalist at the Zagreb Design Week Award and Isola Design Award. It has been exhibited at Milan Design Week, Dutch Design Week, Dubai Design Week, and Zagreb Design Week, and will represent Kosovo at Expo 2025 Osaka.

Guided by mottos such as “Past Forward”​ and “Local as New Global,”​ SHAPE & SHADE creates sustainable, locally rooted, and globally relevant design. The studio collaborates across disciplines and geographies, building bridges between tradition and innovation while contributing to both local communities and the global design culture.
