PhD Sonja Radović Jelovac, an interdisciplinary architectis the winner of prestigious international scholarship for doctoral studies at the University of “La Sapienza” in Rome, at the Department for Environmental Design, where she developed an innovative topic which is an authentic contribution to scientific progress in the field of contemporary research in the area of new paradigms in design, with the focus on higher scientific contribution in the segment of resilient adaptive urban design through prism of collaborative resilience in social-ecological system. She is Curator of the Montenegrin national exhibition project at the 16th Biennale of Architecture in Venice.Originality of her work is reflected through transdisciplinary approach, high level of theoretical and design complexity which she proves by winning many awards and recognitions such: Mies Van Der Rohe prize Nomination for villa The Two (2024) and Betula Design Centre (2022), Architecture MasterPrize (Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao), German Design Award, Special recognition at the S.ARCH conference in Hong Kong, CEMEX Building Award, Loop Design Award, BigSEE Award ect. Sonja is member of the jury in numerous architectural competitions (Expo Milano 2015, Expo Dubai 2021, Expo Osaka 2025). She participated in multiple architectural exhibitions, enjoys education with architecture being her true passion.
