Private Apartment in Vienna (9th District)
In this fully revitalized old building in the heart of Vienna, we developed an interior concept for the entire apartment, focusing on high-quality and predominantly sustainable materials and products.
The traditional Viennese company Wittmann, with its outstanding furniture designs by Sebastian Herkner, served as inspiration for timeless design. The lighting fixtures also come from renowned brands such as OCCHIO, Kundalini, and FLOS. Staying true to our motto; “Functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability”, we sought a mid-century Scandinavian-style sideboard and found the perfect piece by Alf Aarseth (for Gustav Bahus).
We consider art a central and unifying element in our designs. To support a young Austrian artist, we selected a piece by Stephanie Rainer that conveys movement, complementing the antique statue inherited by our client. In the bedroom, we featured another promising artist, Ilona Rainer-Prantner. Finally, we incorporated natural stone and wood for carpentry and additional finishing touches.
