Galsan Plastik, a well-established automotive company with 45 years of experience in plastic injection, has constructed its new factory on a 19.500 m² plot in the Dilovası Makinacılar Organized Industrial Zone. Designed by IGLO Architects, the project encompasses a planned closed area of 20.000 m² and employs 300 people. It integrates production, storage, a management center, offices, social areas, and technical spaces.
The facility features two large single-story halls and two-story storage areas, effectively doubling the company’s current production capacity. IGLO Architects prioritized the use of recyclable materials in the factory’s design, focusing on criteria such as efficient use of natural light, energy savings to reduce costs, and resource recovery. The structure utilizes solar energy while rainwater and greywater are collected and recycled for reuse.
In addition to bright and airy workspaces, the design includes open terraces and garden areas, providing employees with refreshing and enjoyable spaces.
