Vorwerk has opened a modern office building in Wuppertal, located on a site steeped in tradition that the company has owned since 1959. Positioned directly on the River Wupper, the new building features a well-thought-out energy concept with a clear focus on sustainability. Its design aims to create a flexible office environment that provides employees with an attractive place to work.

Inside, it offers office space, ancillary rooms, and a staff restaurant with seating for 80 guests. Innovative room layouts, natural ventilation, and acoustically effective ceiling sails contribute to a pleasant indoor climate and enhance employee well-being. Aesthetically, the elegant façade made of champagne-colored expanded metal merges form and function. The U-shaped structure fosters a harmonious connection to nature, while green seating areas and an inner courtyard provide space for relaxation and interaction. In recognition of its commitment to sustainability, the building has received DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) Platinum certification.
