The Wire Collection uses an innovative combination of materials, primarily wire derived from corn and powdered beans from a species in the Euphorbiaceae family. In powder form, this plant-based material not only meets all technical requirements but also stands out for its sustainability. Grown in tropical climates without genetic modification, these fast-growing plants do not compete with food crops.

When combined with the patented Rolf Flexlock hinge – which can be 3D-printed simultaneously with the frame – the result is a high-performance, screwless eyewear collection. The frames are flexible, lightweight, durable, and skin-friendly, offering a unique blend of technology and ecological responsibility.

About the Model – TRIK:
TRIK is a striking design that merges vintage charm with modern flair. A single thread runs along the frame, creating a bold visual accent. To add depth and subtle detail, the beginning and end of the thread are intentionally highlighted – making TRIK a true eye-catcher.
