S chair

This handmade lounge chair combines bent laminated wood, aluminium, and canvas into a design that balances structure and comfort. The flexibility of the laminated wood and canvas ensures an exceptionally comfortable seating experience.

Inspired by the geometric form of a wave, the chair’s main structure is crafted from bent and laminated oak slats. Two aluminium tubes – evoking a boom and a mast – connect the wooden frame, while the unfurled canvas seat suggests a sail in motion.

The work of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto served as a key inspiration, guiding the design’s harmony between natural materials, fluid geometry, and timeless modernism.
