Kite chair

Designed by the Italian design duo Studio Nooi, Kite chair has a both dynamic and calm identity. The design is inspired by the force of the Nordic wind. The characteristic shape of the backrest reminds of a kite inflated by wind blowing from the front of the chair. The chair embraces the user providing comfort both to the back and the hips. The sides of the curved backrest, made of steam bent solid oak, work also nicely as small armrests. Kite is stackable, this feature combined with the robustness of its solid oak structure make this chair suitable both for domestic and public spaces.
