The ichi-clip is a next-generation clip designed with simplicity and minimalism in mind. Made with half the material of a conventional paper clip, it allows for smooth and effortless clipping without damaging the paper. The design follows the golden ratio (1:1.6) and is crafted from durable stainless steel, combining aesthetic beauty with functionality while reducing environmental impact.
It has a beautifully streamlined form with no excess elements, designed according to the golden ratio to achieve timeless beauty and functionality. It offers one-action usability, enabling smooth clipping and removal, which makes it especially convenient for those with weak grip strength. The clamping strength can be adjusted by flipping the clip’s tip, giving users flexibility depending on paper thickness or personal preference.
The clip is available in two sizes to suit different uses. The Normal Type measures 25 mm in length and can hold approximately 50 sheets of standard copy paper. The Wide Type measures 60 mm and can hold around 100 sheets of standard copy paper or 30 thick sheets such as business cards. This larger version can also serve as a money clip. Both types share the same design, differing only in size, allowing users to choose the option that best enhances efficiency and usability. Specially processed edges ensure that neither paper nor fingers are damaged during use. Made of SUS304 stainless steel, the clip is rust-resistant, reusable, and highly durable. It is lightweight and compact enough to fit in a pen case or pocket, with the Wide Type doubling as a money clip if desired. When holding paper, the clip securely maintains its grip without expanding, and after the paper is removed, it returns to its original shape rather than remaining stretched like a conventional paper clip, making it ideal for repeated use.
