Repovž restaurant is located in the village of Šentjanž. It is a traditional restaurant with a long history. The project covered the lobby and dining rooms renovation. The problem was the bar that was previously placed in the main dining room. After much deliberation, the decision was made to place it in the lobby, while keeping the shop with local produce there. The main dining room is now opened up and breathes new life into space. Display fridges and the working counter have been placed up the wall.
A thick wall and a huge furnace that were dividing the other dining room have been torn down. Old and beautiful interior elements such as herringbone hardwood floor, dark wooden ceiling and wooden wall panels have been preserved. Existing terrazzo (alla) veneziana has been laid in the lobby, too. The central element of the restaurant is now the ceramic wood burning stove coated with centuries-old cast iron tiles decorated with beautiful relief.
