GIRO office building modernization

The project aimed to refurbish the actual headquarter of Giro Zrt. The concept was to design a 21st-century professional working environment using the latest technology integrated into a more than 150-year-old eclectic style building, in the heart of Budapest. We created new social spaces and inspiring open offices to meet the client’s expectations. The concept is based on the contrast emerging from the juxtaposition of classic and modern styles. We endeavored to blend the richness of old details with the simplicity of modern minimalism along with the company’s renewed identity.

We utilized the most innovative design methods; we laser-scanned the building, designed in closed BIM to coordinate 24 disciplines, and accompanied the project with CDE and BIM-based project management until completion. The project was delivered on time and on budget with seamless operation of the interbank financial settlement system nested within the building.
