The Future Vase project was created for ILLOLA, the Slovak–Polish design platform founded by Patrik Illo and Aleksandra Stencel. Dedicated to small-series glass production, ILLOLA places strong emphasis on conceptual depth, exceptional craftsmanship, and collaborations with traditional Slovak and Czech glassmakers.
The project stems from a reflection on the role of technology in creativity. Technology, I believe, should expand our creative horizons rather than restrict them. When approached impartially – free from preconceived notions – it can reveal entirely new and meaningful methods of expression. It is from this mindset that the Future Vases collection emerged: a fusion of technological exploration and timeless craft.
