BIG SEE Awards

BIG SEE Awards were launched as regional awards to systematically explore and promote the creative and business potential of the Southeast Europe. With the ambition of connecting creativity beyond regional boundaries, they have outgrown regional frameworks and become international. Nowadays BIG SEE Awards contribute to the unique and original creative achievements in architecture, interior, product and fashion design globally.

Registration deadlines

  • Early Bird Premium: February 3 – February 15, 2025 | €100
  • Early Bird: February 16 – March 31, 2025 | €150
  • Regular: April 1 – June 15, 2025 | €250
  • Latecomers: June 16 – July 15, 2025 | €350

Eligibility

  • Creations completed within the last three years.
  • Entrants are allowed to submit multiple creations, each with a separated entry form.
  • Only on time submitted creations with specified text description and images will be admitted to competition.
  • Entries will not be accepted or judged without payment of the entry fee.

Criteria & Judging

Creations will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

    • The IT factor of a country: the spirit of a country, the 4Es – Exotic, Eclectic, Eccentric, Emotions
    • Step forward: usage of new modern technologies and materials / Slow fashion – stands for designing, creating, and buying long-lasting garments of high quality /ecological/ethical / sustainable / cruelty-free fashion
    • Wearable art / Timeless: stunning fashion cut constructions, conceptual clothing, well-elaborated colours/patterns/prints
    • Wearable art / Accessories

Among the BIG SEE Awards Winners, Grand Prix Winner in each category will be selected. The jury has the right to recategorize any entry. The decision of the jury is final. The jury is not obliged to explain its decision.

Culinary performance
BIG Design Culinary Performance enhances interaction between visitors and exhibitors, therefore it is obligatory for all exhibitors. The exhibitor is required to host culinary performances on October 10 and 11, serving 250 bites per day to enhance interaction at the BIG Design Exhibition. We recommend collaborating with culinary masters to create one-bite culinary masterpieces that are unique, original, surprising, delicious, and appealing, showcasing the key attributes of the design brands, though this is optional. Alternatively, culinary creations can be based on creative solutions created by exhibitors themselves, using simple bites, or can be arranged by the organizer at €500 per each day, totaling €1,000 for both days.
