BIG Architecture will take place in the historically impressive building of the former Grando salt warehouse, which dates back to the first half of the 19th century. Originally significant for salt farmers as a storage space for harvested salt, today it serves as a venue for various local and international events, including concerts, congresses, promotional activities, and exhibitions. The building’s simple yet massive architecture features 2.5-meter-thick walls and 28-meter-long beams, with the longest wooden beams in Slovenia made from single pieces of wood.

Grando is located in the heart of Portorož, easily accessible by various means of transportation, which can be checked here. It’s a 5-minute walk from the main city center. There are parking spaces nearby, including charging stations for electric vehicles.
